DENVER (KDVR) – You don’t have to be a Colorado native to know that the Colorado housing market is hot. Currently, single family homes are sold for an average of $623,825, breaking the previous record of $587,484 in March of 2021. For the last seven years, it’s been more a sellers market than a buyer’s market.

Ryan Sondrup is a native of Colorado and he says he’s seen it all when it comes to the ups and downs of the real estate market, but he’s never seen it this insane ever. Sondrup started Nexstep Real Estate 15 years ago and says he hasn’t seen a middle ground in the market. The market went from a buyers market to a sellers market very quickly.

The event is the summit of real estate achievement in metro Denver and recognized the highest-performing REALTORS® in 2019.

Derek Lis is a Colorado native who grew up in Fort Collins and attended the Colorado School of Mines where he played football and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In addition to being a licensed Real Estate Agent, he is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. After college he went on to work as a civil engineer in Denver and worked on the redevelopment of the Union Station neighborhood. While working full-time, he decided to go back to school at The University of Denver where he received an M.S. in the Real Estate & Construction Management program. He then transitioned into real estate as his full time career, but is able to apply his expertise in land development engineering to provide value to prospective real estate clients.

SMDRA held its sixth annual Diamond Circle Awards celebration on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.

In order to become a Two Carat – Individual Member of the Diamond Circle Club, a REALTOR must have produced between $7- $11,999,999 million in volume or completed between 30-39 transactions.
